Welcome to the Library!

I have been in the education field for twenty-nine years.  This is my eleventh year as the Librarian at Colonial Beach Public Schools, and I am looking forward to another great year.  I am also looking forward to continuing my partnership with Ms. Gregoire, the High School Librarian, to support the students and staff at CBPS.  My husband, Adam, and I will be celebrating our eleventh anniversary in October.  We have two nephews, one beagle named Mouse, and enjoy spending time with our family!  Students will have the opportunity to check out books for independent reading and enjoyment.  They will practice research skills and make connections with other subjects through literature.  Stay tuned for information regarding our Scholastic Book Fairs.  I have also started planning our One School, One Book Event that will take place in early January.  I can't wait to reveal what book we will be reading together as a school.  Please don't hesitate to contact me throughout the year if you have any questions.
